(i.e. making a 70 minute mix and wanting it to appear in 12 tracks on the cd)

This will add and envelope point. Then just grab the envelope point and you can move it up and down to creat a fade/volume adjustment "2. is there a way to break up a track into sections when rendering? Therefore it renders only the area you have selected. You can then render as seperate .Wav files and then place each in a CD burning app of your choice. The other option is to get Acid 5, when it's released and it will allow you to place CD markers along the timelinge and burn a Disc-at-Once CD.
