This isn't really anything huge, but it bugs (no pun intended) me really bad. Everytime I open a project or start a new one, a DLS soft synth is added to the mixer window. I can't delete it or anything. I just sits there doing nothing. The other day I decided to reinstall ACID Pro 4 and it went away. As soon as I opened up an older project that had the stuck soft synth in there, it came back in every project I do, new or old. It's not a big deal really, I just get really annoyed everytime I see it. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks, -b

It’s really odd that the DLS can’t be deleted and its even odder that it went away with a new install but stuck back when opening old projects so that new ones exhibit this behavior again. We really can’t help you if we can’t reproduce the problem. If you double click on it, will it open the Soft Synth Properties? If it does, can you click Edit Soft Synth and select a different (VSTi) soft synth? Then can that one be deleted? I would contact Sony support on the phone. Perhaps they can walk you through some way to get rid of it. ~jr
