why not just render the song to a wav file and burn it using whatever app came with your burner?

I've piped my CDs out through 800 watts across 4 channels to a crowd of 3000. Sound quality was excellent. I would say that the CD itself was probably the best sounding part of the chain.

Remeber that we're talking about digital data here. The computer is not going to introduce additional noise into the recording at each step. Burning a disc from a file on the hard drive will not degrade the signal nor distort it.
