DVP-NC665P

Hi all:
I am in the process of learning to make DVD movies (home videos) and using Vegas software. I have sony DVD player DVP-NC665P. It plays DVD-R that i created. But since it is one time burn disc, I cannot use it again if the movie that I made is not of good quality.

Is there a way I could use a rewritable DVD so that I can erase and burn to check and see if it is OK quality?

What format DVD media should I buy that will play in DVP-NC665P? And while using DVD-architect or NEro should I take any precuation in burning?

please let me know.

Sure. Go ahead and try it. My suggestion would be to get the exact same media you're using now except DVD-RW instead of DVD-R. I do this all the time.

sorry. bit confused. So I should buy DVD-RW and play in DVDp-NCC665P and then after satisfaction burn onto a DVD-R. Right?

That's correct. I always burned a DVD-RW first and if all was OK I would then burn the -R disk. Now since I use Adobe Encore 1.5, it will preview my entire DVD so no need to do the DVD-RW thing. But for you that may not be the case so keep with the DVD-RW burn first. Get a couple of them, they are quite useful.
