Hey Guy's "and girls!" i'm recording cd's with acid 4.0 but i cant seem to get a grasp on how to mark the end of my songs so when searching on a cd you skip a song and so on, is there a way to mark my recording? let me know, one track hour long cd's are getting tirering! |

What you want is Disk-at-Once burning but ACID 4 Pro doesn’t support this. You must use burn Track-at-Once and select the Burn loop region only option for each song on the CD. What I would do is make a region around each song. Then double click the first region to make it the loop and burn the track. Then double-click the next region and burn, etc. until all your songs are burned. Make sure that Close disc when done burning is NOT check for any of the tracks except the last one. Each song will have the standard 2 sec gap of silence between them. ACID Music Studio 5.0 does support Disk-at-Once so we can only hope that ACID 5 Pro will also support this when it comes out, but its anyone’s guess. ~jr |

I'm going to give you a slightly different answer. 1. Hit M to drop track markers 2. Add a marker at 0.00.000 and at the very end of the track 3. Render to WAV and save project markers 4. Open in Sound Forge, you should see your markers 5. In the menu: Special--> Regions List--> Markers to Regions 6. In the menu: Tools--> Extract Regions You will now have a WAV for each track, burn using any CD Burning software. Yes, it would be nice to have the option to set track markers and burn right off to CD but I actually prefer this method. Why? Because when you do a burn out of ACID there is the rendering time to consider. When you actually export all your tracks to WAV it takes only 3 minutes to create a full 80 minute CD every time you want one. Cheers, Aeon |
