I haven't found any way to show the preview fader. Strange...

In Acid Pro 4, here is what Help says:
If the Preview fader is not displayed, right-click the Mixer and choose Show Preview Fader from the shortcut menu.

But a right-click on Mixer in Music 5 does nothing...

Probably it's a bug ?
- Either the preview fader should never be hidden
- Or the contextual menu of the mixer window is missing

Sony should post an answer here as soon as possible.

Here is a solution to display the fader again.

Close Acid Music 5.
Click "Start" -> "Run" -> type "regedit" - > Click "OK"
Go to the following key on the left panel:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sony Media Software\ACID Music\5.0\Metrics

When the preview fader is hidden, on the right panel, there is a key of type DWORD named "10126" with a value '0' (zéro, meaning "Off").
Just delete that key "10126" or set a value '1'.
Be careful when editing the registry, type slowly and think twice at what you are doing :)

When you start Acid Music 5 again, the fader is visible.

However, if there is no option in Acid to show the fader after it has been hidden, there is a bug, obviously.

You might want to email sony tech support as well. If this is a bug, it needs to be on the "bug" list.

If you want a safer way to reset the display layout without mucking about with the system registry, exit ACID, then hold down the Shift & Ctrl keys simultaneously while restarting ACID. This will reset everything back to the original installation defaults. Of course, you may not want to reset everything, so using Djipy's method may be better for you.

Thanks Pigeye. I've added this bug to our database. We'll make sure it gets fixed in the next update.
