Subject:CD type trackmarking

I have some DJ type mixes that I have as arrangements on Acid pro 4 and I'd like to know if you can trackmark when each new track is starting. I know you can do this in CD Architect but that doesn't have the flexiblity that Acid has (in terms of being able to add multiple tracks/overdubs etc).

I'd like to be able to burn the CD with track marks and be able to skip tracks as you would with conventional CDs

Thanks

Unfortunately, this is not doable in ACID Pro 4.0. You will need to use CD Architect for this.

This IS a feature in ACID Music 5.0

Thanks for the reply.

Can the saved Acid arrangement be opened in CD Archtect to be trackmarked?

Thanks

You'll have to Render As to a .wav file. 44.1KHz stereo 16 bit is probably preferred since this is the format used on Audio CDs. Open this file up in CD-Architect (or Vegas 3, 4, or 5), add track markers, and burn away.

I don't have CD-Architect so i don't know if this will work, but it's possible that if you already have markers set in ACID, you can check the box to "save metadata with media file" when rendering, and these markers will appear in CD-Architect or Vegas when you open the .wav file. I'm pretty sure it will work in Vegas, but i don't know about CD-A. In any case, you can always set new track markers manually.
