I have found an update, now it is asking for a SN #.....

where do I find the SN #, I bought the lap top and registered it with sony and I need to know where to look for it? Is it under the lopt top?

there is several numbers to choses from...

I think you should try the serial number of your portable phone or your mp3 player if you've got one...
If it still doesn't work, contact Sony Media Software's customer support.
