I'm somewhat of a newbie and am having a problem using Soundforge in conjunction with my new Gina24 soundcard. The error I get when trying to play/edit tracks in Soundforge is: "The Gina playback device does not support one or more of the current format parameters (sample rate, number of channles, or bits per sample" Any ideas? |

Yes....exactly what it says: "The Gina playback device does not support one or more of the current format parameters (sample rate, number of channles, or bits per sample" In Sound Forge goto FILE>PROPERTIES>FORMAT Tab. This will tell you the current format parameters of the file you are trying to playback. It is one of those parameters that the Gina does not support. See what formats the Gina supports, located in the Gina manual. Use the Sound Forge "Resample" or "Bit Depth" converter to change the format of the file to something the Gina supports. These are located under the PROCESS menu in Sound Forge. |
