how can I take a music file that is very large like 9hrs long and track it out so i can burn it on to cd's |

For a 9-hour-long file, the best bet is to split it into managable segments. Is this audio or wave/aiff? If it's audio, you're looking at about 8 CDs, give or take. If it's wave or aiff, you can fit it onto 2 DVDs. Either way, you're going to have to split it it up in Vegas, Forge or another app. |

Oh, OK, I thought you wanted it on just 1 CD. But the above suggestion is the best if you want it as a wav - dump the whole thing into Soundforge and then just chop it up. Pretty straightforward... |

Spirit gave you the best advice...i've done in in Sound Forge with large DJ sets...very easy to do... |
