How can I take a music file that is very large like 9hrs long and track it out so i can burn it on to cd's

What format is it in? (WAV, MP3, etc.)

I'd say an audio editor like Sound Forge and a burning app of your choice (like Easy Media Creator from Roxio) should do the job.
