What are you using to record with? Microphone? Direct? What soundcard do you have? |

How is the mic connected? 1/8" stereo minijack? Using the Santa Cruz's "mic in" (if it's available)? Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |

Look at the plug for the mic, how many stripes are going across the tip? I'm betting one, which means that the mic can only do mono. You could try recording stereo, but you'll just end up with the left channel. Try recording in mono instead. Nope. :) Make sure you go to the Audio tab under Options>Preferences on the menu bar and choose a specific playback device other than "Microsoft Sound Mapper". (Choose either "Windows Classic Wave" or ASIO if your soundcard provides it.) Once you do that, go to the Record window and choose a specific input for recording under "record device". You should have a "mono" option available. Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |

How about this: - Keep the one-track version you've got and in the track properties pan it hard left. Then copy the track, turn of the snapping, move it a tiny amount ahead of the other track, and pan it hard right. |
