Subject:ACID 4.0F using ASIO Drivers error

Does anyone out there have problems using ASIO drivers with Acid 4.0f.
I get short buzzes when selecting any command on the toolbar during playback. Also I cannot open any old projects when running my ASIO device.
If I use the classic wave drivers, all is good!
My New E-MU 0404 sound card is specially designed to be used with ASIO drivers, but can be used with Wave drivers.
Both Sony and E-MU are blaming each other for this conflict!

It does sound like the ASIO drivers themselves could be the culprit, since you're not having problems with WDM/Windows Classic Wave. ASIO driver performance varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

If you don't use MIDI, Windows Classic Wave should suit you well.
