Subject:Can't remove old version

I seem to have an old version of 4.0e stuck on my computer. I am not infront of it right now, but I am sure it asks for an installer to uninstall. I have no idea what that means... any ideas? 4.0f works fine, but I cannot double click on a acid project file without it looking for the installer... thanks in advance

Odd you have two different 4.0 versions (if indeed that's what's happening). That shouldn't happen.

Try uninstalling 4.0f completely, then reinstall 4.0f to see if that helps.

You know I think I tried that, but now 4.0f seems to be having some sort of problems with a rewire .dll. I am going to try a clean install on the whole shebang. Thanks for your reply.
