Hi,

I have vegas+DVD and ACID 4. But for some reason, AC-3 encoder plugin comes with vegas does not work properly with ACid 4.0b. It always ask me to buy the AC-3 encoder. In spite of it works well with vegas 5.0. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem...I can't seem to locate the phone number since I don't have a 'purchased' service plan and I am past the initial 60 days. Could you post the number. Thanks.

Problem solved! In my case, I had to re-install DVDA 1.0 in order for Acid to see/use the plugin. Hope it is that simple for you.

In the case that what Bob suggested doesn't work, here's the link to Sony's phone support. They should be able to help you.

You should definitely be able to use the AC-3 encoder plug-in if you have Vegas.

You might want to try the migration utility, located under the "Sonic Foundry" program group in your Start menu. (Sonic Foundry>Utilities>Migration Tools>Copy Sonic Foundry Plug-In Licenses from Installed Sony Plug-Ins)
