Don't have a Shuttle Pro here. Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the Shuttle Pro's software as well?

I have the Shuttle Pro and SF 7.0b, build 301. The Shuttle Pro is working fine. I can't say I did anything special other than set up the settings the way I like them. That's not much help, but at least you know it can work. I do have the latest Shuttle Pro drivers, maybe that's something.
