Subject:error message

ive just installed acid v4.0 and whenever i go to play back the default track or loops of my own that ive loaded in i get a message that says "an error occured while starting playback An unexpected error has occured"
ive configured my sound card (i think...) anyway this is really pissing me off.Any ideas?

Make sure the sample rate of your project matches the sample rate of your sound card, especially if you are using ASIO drivers. For example, the default sample rate for projects is 44KHz but Creative Audigy (and other SoundBlaster family sound cards) only operate at 48Khz (Audigy 2 also works at 96Khz). In this case, you would need to change the project sample rate to 48Khz. (note: use the Start all new projects with these settings option to make the new sample rate the default)

i tried changing the sample rate but got no result.i have a yamaha ds1 sound card.
is my sound card not good enough to run the program?
Or are the loops im importing in the wrong format?
