I'll assume, however, that you purchased your copy and something is expired or corrupted legitimatly (happens all the time in software). I just had to present both options :o) Acid uses a seperate plugin to read and write MP3's. After you've been using the program for a while it asks you to register that plugin and if you don't poof MP3 compatibility go buh-bye. You should be prompted every time you try to load up a track with MP3's in it, or any time you try to render to MP3. If the answer is "none of the above" then go download the latest version of Acid off shareware site, uninstall, and re-install. A proper serial number immediatly converts Acid 4 from demo mode to full registered mode so the version on the site (download link in the upper right) should be all you need.
