This should be pretty simple to answer but I can't figure it out: When I'm chopping a verse out of a song, It leaves the empty space and I have to line up the second piece over. I remember using ACID and having the second piece automatically move itself to the place I started chopping it. How do I get it to do this again??? Thanks

Toggle ripple edits. (CTRL+L is the keyboard shortcut. It's also at Options>Ripple Edits on the menu bar.)

At some point you hit F8 and disabled grid snapping. All the grid options are available under the first two "Options" menu items.

Also of interest is that if you hold down the shift key while you drag, it disables snapping. When you need to make a fine adjustment and don't want ACID to snap to the grid, hold down the shift key as you drag.
