...a product called Symphonic Orchestra Silver Edition by EastWest/Quantum Leap? If so what were your thoughts/ And also, if you have used it, I have a more specific question waiting for you :)

Haven't used it, but it's direct competitor is Garritan Personal Orchestra which I can recommend. You might like to look at that one as well.
