I am recording a How-To video in my living room. My mini dv recorder is a JVC GR-DVL 805. Nothing fancy at all, it gets what I need done. That said, it doesn't have an external mic option, so I am stuck with the background motor noise from the camera that is picked up in quiet environments. I have soundforge 6b, vegas 5, and any other program that I need to edit this noise in. I played with it in Soundforge but made no real headway. Can someone help me with the tools that I am suposed to use in SF to reduce the background noise? TIA |

I found a proggy called Cool Edit Pro 2, Adobe bought it and changed the name to Adobe Audition, but it did an unbelievable job of taking out the exact noise that I wanted it to. Thanks anyway. |
