I’m not sure what you’re suggesting but ACID ignores all tempo information in MIDI files so there is absolutely no way to influence ACID’s tempo that I know of with a MIDI file. If you're suggesting to use MIDI Sync to control ACID’s tempo that's a good idea but it would affect all tracks not just one of them. As Metronome suggested, if it’s a loop you can go into the Track Properties and under the Stretch tab change the Number of beats: for the loop. Therefore, if the loop was 4 beats, changing it to 8 beats will make it play in half time or twice as slow. Of course, you can make odd times by changing the beats from 4 to 5, 6, or 7, too. If that doesn’t get the effect you want, solo the track, slow the tempo down to where you want it, and render the track to a file. Then bring that file back in as a one-shot and it will be exactly as you want it. ~jr
