Have any of you experienced any issues with DirectX 9.0c and/or Media Player 10? I'm wanting to demo some software (Acoustica 3.1) and it requires both. I don't stay on the "cutting edge" of microsoft updates, so I haven't installed these yet. And I don't want to mess up acid or sound forge, so I'm asking. |

No prob with the 9c but haven't tried the mp 10, although I have it. I, as well, am always hesitant with MS updates. |

Using DirectX 9.0c and Media Player 10 here. No problems to speak of with ACID Pro 4.0 or Sound Forge 7.0. Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |

DKeenum, I was just checking to see what Acoustica was and on three different sites (including the maker's homepage) I found information that stated Acoustica only requires Direct X 8.0 or later and no mention of Media Player 10. Acoustica Homepage Dave |

Your right! It does say 8.0! I missread it. But it does state, "Windows Media Player 10 is required for full bit rate mp3 export in Acoustica." But I guess I'm safe with DirextX 9.0 and MP 10 anyway. |
