I just bought a US224 and was planning on using it as a control surface as well as input device to my Vegas 4. Did I totally miss the boat on this one? I thought that the transport controls on the Tascam would work in Vegas. So far I can't get Vegas to recognize anything on the Tascam, other than the fact that the stereo inputs are coming from the Tascam.

Also I see that under Tools>Preferences>Sync, I can assign MIDI in/out to the Tascam, but that doesn't seem to help. Searching the forums, it looks like Vegas 5 can be "taught" to recognize controls on the Tascam, but am I SOL on Vegas 4?
