I purchased Sound Forge XP Studio 5.0 from Sonic Foundry back in 2002. The PC I used it on has died and I'd like to get the application loaded on my new PC. I have the original email with the Activation Code and Serial Number. Anyone know what my options are? I don't see XP 5 in the updates list. Griff |

thanks, Chienworks, but when I follow that link, it says at the bottom: "Sorry, this product has been updated or no longer exists. Click here to download a different application." So I guess I should plead my case with customer support? |

Rats. They must have just done that. When i looked up that link it was still active. Unfortunately i never had XP Studio 5 (I've got both Studio 6 and the full version of 5). If i did have it i'd let you download it from my server. Sorry. Maybe someone else out there has it and will be willing to send it to you. |

Is your problem that you ONLY have it (or had it) on your computer? You don't have the installation CD? (Obvious, I guess.) The old harddrive wouldn't work if temporarily installed in your new computer? Sound Forge treated me very nicely when I bought the full version of SF6 and wanted to transfer ownership of SF6XP to my daughter, who is a musician. They issued her new numbers or whatever. But we still had the installation disk. |
