Howdy,

My copy of ACID Pro 4.0f doesn't create SFK files when playing project. I think I remeber setting this up somehow at one point, but cant find it in options. Does any1 know how to do this?

Cheers, Nathan

SFK files are used to help draw the representative waveform relating to the audio on your monitor's screen faster. They're usually created when you make a recording or edit a track in Sound Forge.

There are times when they're not created, like when a track is bounced down or rendered to a new track.

Don't worry too much if SFK's are not immediately created.

SFK files are made anytime you drag a media file into the Acid Track view. Are you looking for these files using the Acid explorer window? If you are using the Acid Explorer window, they won't be shown by default. You need to go to the top right Icon of the Acid Explorer window and check the "All files" checkbox and then it will show all the files in the folder you're looking at. If you use the Windows explorer these files should be seen also.
