Subject:Reproducable ACID PRO 4.0 Crash

ACID PRO 4.0 crashes regularly for me in the following scenario:
1. Select record button, default "Record Take 14" appears (file already exists)
2. Change from Audio to Midi recording (or vice versa)
3. Error occurs - e.g., "file already exists"
4. Select OK and get crash. See crash details below:

I'm trying to repro but can't seem to. It automatically skips over to a numbered take that doesn't exist yet.

I've tried manually punching in the same number, but all ACID tells me is that the track already exists and to give the take a new name and then gives the Record dialog back to me without crashing.

Did you try uninstalling/reinstalling ACID? It should always revert to "Record Track 1" when you exit and then launch ACID once again.

What operating system are you using?
