OT: Sampler (Gigastudio) Advice -ACID Product Family

I've got a P4 2.8 system with a Gig of RAM, Delta 44 sound card and would be using an external USB2 HD with 8MB cache & <8.9ms seek. Any feedback would be appreciated. KH

I've been running it on a dedicated system for a few years now. One of the biggest drawbacks that I have with it, is that you need GSIF compatible sound drivers in order to take full advantage of the multiple outs. In other words, you can use ASIO or WDM and even so with Giga, but you will lose the multi outs. NOW, the good news is, FXMax has come out with a very long awaited Giga VSTi!!! It's almost like a "shell" VSTi though....not the typical. You must have Giga running, and then it takes advantage of it and "pipes" it into your VSTi application. Very cool app indeed. I have tried it (limited use thus far) with Acid Pro 4.0 and it seemed to work fine.
