can't get my Mbox to Record with acid??? -ACID Product Family

Subject:can't get my Mbox to Record with acid??? Posted by: happyfacedj Date:8/31/2004 11:59:01 AM I just bought a new system. Abit IS7, P4 3.0e, 1gb dual ram, plus the rest of the junk that goes into a new rig. I also bought a new Mbox bought my computer won't recognize the sound card for recording only playback. So I disabled the Integrated to see if that would work but no. It can record with the PT software but no Acid. I'm not a tech I barely get by knowing what I know with computer but my tech said I have XP Pro with the new service pack 2 I have the latest ASIO Driver 6.1.1 but no such luck. Can Anyone help me??? Thanks in Advance.

If so, are you able to select a specific driver model on the Audio tab under Options>Preferences other than "Microsoft Sound Mapper"? I have Acid 4.0f running fine with the TDM and M-Box on XP Pro SP1 You should also update to 6.4, if you bought the M-Box with 6.1 I think its free. George Ware
