Subject:Combining 2 Projects

I want to add all the tracks from project 2 into project 1, but I can't get it to work.

I tried copying & pasting, won't work.

I tried opening project 1, then to using Explorer or "Open" to select project 2: won't work. (This just puts me into project 2 & closes proj 1)

All that works is if I save Proj 2 as a WAVE, then import it into P 1 using explorer. THIS IS A PAIN in the rump, since I want to remix.

Any ideas, you guys?

Open two instances of Acid.
For the track you want to copy...right click on the track icon you want, and select COPY.
Move the cursor to the second open Acid (the one you want to copy to) and select EDIT-PASTE.
If you want to copy all the tracks from one to the other, left clic your top track and hold SHIFT when you left clic the bottom track, then right clic COPY.
