first of all im sorry if this isnt a question i shud be askin u guys but iv asked everyone else... :(


Does any1 know wether the intro from Redmans song "smash something" was sampled from an old oprah/classical song etc?

iv been lookin for this part of the song as an instrumental but it doesnt seem to exist... all the "smash something instrumentals" dont have this intro in there...


any help wud be appreciated.

Do you have a genuine source to this intro? Every sample I've checked out only contains highlights. (I heard a choir-type "ahh" in one but couldn't glean much more than that.)

Considering that the choir is singing "Redman" over and over I'm going to say that this is not from an Opera or other classical song.

It does sound like some of the modern soundtrack type compositions and may have been inspired by a classical piece.

Well does any1 know how to take vocals out of a song? i believe it can be done?

It will be easier, and you'll get better resukts if you imitate the sounds with hardware and/or VSTi.

I haven't heard the song, but send me the clip and $50, I'll create a license free version of it for you.

It's sort of a joke around here when people ask if vocals can be removed.

Search the forum for "remove vocals" and you'll see.

i think........they sampled the choir from the camina burana cd.

i really havent compared it but when i first heard the track(redman A.K.A. REGGIE NOBLE) thats what came to mind.
