Newbie here so sorry if this question has been asked before When i have downloaded some samples to run in acid there is a very strange echo on some of them Does anyone know what this is and how it can be rectified? Cheers! S |

No apologies needed. That's what we're here for. :) Sounds like ACID is time stretching and therefore ACIDizing the sample for you on the fly since it has no tempo information. Try changing the sample to a One-shot track type instead of Loop to hear the sample as it was originally conceived. (You could also simply open the sample in a media player like Windows Media Player or an audio editor like Sound Forge to do the same thing.) From there, it's a matter of trying to figure out what tempo the sample best fits in. I can give tips on how to do this if you're interested.
