Sounds like it's a question of mixing for different audio setups. What sounds good on your computer might not sound good in your home stereo. Reference monitors would help in this situation. (I would recommend a good soundcard as well.) Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |

I failed to metion that most of the time I listen through my usb logitechs premiums and everything sounds great threw them...I installed an audigy this morning and now I hear the tracks and they sound ugly and I dont know why. On my old system I 'composed' songs and they sounded great I even burned a cd that sounded awesome using a sb live. That was on the first acid. I now have acid 4.0 and it should be better but when I try my first acid again everything sounds muddy all ove again/// across both applications. Reason 2.5 however sounds great.Weirdness on my new system, someone must know why acid sounds so bad for me now. TY-OG1 |

Then I guess you had better check your own mixing. Mixing is an art that can take years to learn. Try checking your mixes to a commercially released CD as you mix. One more thing. I use some klipsch speakers (w/sub) for my office computer. They sound great, but I would never mix to them. You need flat transparent monitors for mixing. |
