OT: royalty-free Debussy?

Hi, I'm looking for copy of "Clare de Lune" by Claude Debussy I can sync to. I believe the music itself is in the public domain, but I understand I'll have to license/buy-out a particular recording.

I've checked all the links in the nearby "buyout music" thread but none seems to have this piece.

Any tips would be appreciated. I'd be willing to settle for a MIDI version if its well done.

Thanks,

Greg

For a MIDI file (and maybe some recordings, too), check out Classical Archives at
http://www.classicalarchives.com/

With a MIDI file, a 24-bit sound card and and a great keyboard like a Kurzweil or Korg Triton with a Bosendorfer sample, you can do your own recording. If you don't have a keyboard you can go to a digital recording studio and get a piece like this knocked out in an hour or less. The problem with an existing recording is that you'll pay for it, and depending on the usage, you could pay a lot!

Actually a Yamaha Motif Es is MUCH more realistic sounding but this is definately the best option!

Erk,
If you can download a midi, it will just take a few minutes to configure this for output. If you have Soundfonts on your sound card, there are some great freebie orchestral and piano sounds.
You also might look in Goody or Musicland stores in the Sound FX department, they often have royalty free music bits on there. I found a really nice dirt band/jug band song on one last year, worked wonderfully. (and was license free)

Thanks for the replies, folks.

I'll probably make do with a MIDI file. I've got Gigasampler and a piano gig that sounds pretty good, so I'll probably just render that out.

Thanks again,

Greg
