Where do I start? I am working in DVDA 2.0. I’ve created a fairly simple, single menu DVD, and I’ve been able to successfully burn a few fully functional RW discs thus far. I have had no “read” problems to this point with my player or any of the others I’ve tested. I made some final changes to my project today, re-linking a few re-edited clips, and adding an “introduction media” file for copyright info. I burned a few discs today, and for some reason, my player reads the disc intermittently – that is, the DVD fires up sometimes, sometimes not. I called tech support and they advised me to upgrade to the 2.0a version, which I did. Unfortunately, when I attempted to prepare and burn my project within 2.0a, I got an “exception” “stacking error.” I don’t have time to fool around with 2.0a right now, after all I had successfully burned several discs in 2.0. I thought the addition of the “Introduction media” might have caused the read issue, but after I deleted it altogether, the same problem occurred – my player would indicate it was loading the disc, “DVD” would appear on the screen, and I would then stare at a blue screen indefinitely. Has anyone a clue as to what this problem might indicate? I guess it could be my $40.00 Radio Shack DVD player, but it has worked nicely since I’ve purchased it a few weeks ago. Any ideas?
Next. For whatever reason, my DVD menu, and videos on playback “frame up” on-screen discernibly leftward, in other words, everything playing on my TV screen from the DVD is too far left. This framing problem is very noticeable and is not desirable at all. I noticed this on several different sets, using a variety of players. Any ideas as to what this problem might be?
I’d greatly appreciate any help on these 2 frustrating issues.
Thanks in advance,
Movick
