Hello, I use Acid 4.0 a good deal for audio editing, such as removing profanity from songs so they may be played for the general public. My question: Are there any plug-ins or anything I can do to be able to "reverse" a certain part of a song? I currently us Adobe Audition 1.5 to do this but I like the Acid interface better. Any help that anyone can provide would be great! XMONSTER xmonster86@yahoo.com Owner, Producer D.M. Productions Lombard, IL |

If you like the "feel" of Sony software, you can easily do this from within Acid. When you're in Acid, you select the track you want to modify and use Edit in Audio Editor. If Sound Forge is your audio editor, it opens with the track already loaded. Reverse the part you want in Sound Forge and bring that back into Acid. If you don't have SF, but you do have another audio editor (Audition, in your case), you do the same thing using that software. That way you can keep Acid as the main app and Audition as a "pop-up app" long enough to reverse. I use that feature and find it very useful since, like you I like working on Acid (I meant IN Acid, really...). Mario |
