OK. I have my song crusin along, then I want to use a new drum loop, which is around 1/2 the speed it needs to be. So I hit "T" and double the time. Nifty. I'm thinking I'm pretty good at this ACID thing. I record my guitar over the doubled tempo drum part and "Voila!" It sounds like Alvin and the Chipmonks! How can I double the tempo of the drum loop, so anything else I play in that section isn't destroyed? Thanks! Rick |

Hmm. How long is your recorded take? Try unchecking the "make new track follow project tempo" option? It will turn your take into a One-shot (which will not be time stretched by ACID). Also, if you need to double the tempo of the drum loop, access the track properties and under the "Stretch" tab, halve the number of beats to double the tempo. Double the number of beats to halve the tempo. HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |
