Subject:MP3 LOOPS STOPPED WORKING

suddenly, a month or so ago, my the MP3s I was using (for ACID PRO) stopped working.

The WAV's work fine, but the projects I launch that had MP3 samples bring up an error box: UNRECOGNISED PLUG-IN or something. (All the offending samples are always MP3, no MP3's will play; all WAVs will.)

I have zillions of samples, some from online, from magazines, from Sonic Foundry's free sample board.

Why did my MP3s & not the WAVs die? Can I fix this?

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling ACID? Sounds like the MP3 plug-in got corrupt in the process somehow.
