OK I have been given the chance to get Acid Pro 2.0 with a handful of the loop CD's from a friend of mine, but niether of us know if it will work on Windows XP Pro. My friend lives in Nebraska and I am 700 miles from him... so I am asking you all if you know if it can work in XP Pro otherwise he will look for another buyer!

Go to the DOWNLOAD link at the top of this page, select Updates, and download ACID Pro Update 2.0d. Install it on your computer (it's either the same software your friend has, or it is the latest release, which is what you would want anyway). If it works, then go ahead and get it and install the serial number he will sell you. If it doesn't work, all you've lost is some downloading time.
