Subject:Acid Pro 4.0f Error

I intermitently received error with the NTDLL.DLL when I open certain projects. My usual solution is to open other projects that does not give this error, then close it, then open the project that previously gives an error and it will now be okay.

What should I do to correct this problem? I tried reinstalling but it's just the same.

My system is a Pentium 4 3.06 Ghz with HT and 1gig RAM

I usually disable the anti-virus program when using ACID.

Thanks.

what version of Windows you using?

try repairing the file instead of uinstalling/reinstalling it and see if that works.

I'm using windows xp pro w/c is always up-to-date. I also tried repairing it but still got the same problem. One thing I noticed is that, it is only happening on my projects where I'm using buses.

Thanks.

Adding to what Sin said, even when you exit a program that was running, it still could cause problems. It's best if the program doesn't launch at all before running ACID.

(I know that negates the use of the antivirus app, but the best-performing DAW's are those that have a minimal installation of hardware and software; install only what you absolutely need.)
