Subject:ACID 4 Problem

I was using Acid 4, and then I wiped my drive. When I reinstalled Acid, it opened up my Acid Files with embedded media, but all of my effects presets were lost. Is this because I was using a different version of Active X? Has anyone else experienced this problem?

when you create an fx preset it is stored in certain files on your hard disk (not your ACID project files). i guess when you formatted your disk they went to preset heaven along with everything else.

next time when you want to format, before you do that you can use the Preset Manager to save your presets to one file, and then copy this file to another partition or a floppy/cd. you can get the Preset Manager from the download page on this site.
