Subject:24 bit is an issue for me Posted by: yup Date:7/20/2004 7:29:24 PM Cant seem to get 24 bit recording on my setup to work. I use Acid 2 and a MiaMidi 24/96 sound card. Ive tried it as 24 packed and 24 unpacked. It will actually record in 24 bit unpacked but it will not play back. I get the error message "an error occurred while recording. an unsupported media type was requested". Im recording guitar through an external amp sim, plugged into my sound card. Ive made sure all my settings are the same at 24 bit; acid software, sound card, guitar amp sim, though I dont think that matters. But it still doesnt work right. Any thoughts, tips, things Im not thinking of?
