Subject:Keys for loops...

I'm trying to create custom loops. How do I set a default key? In other words, I want the loops I create to match up with other loops people buy, and be in the same key with the loops they have. It seems when I make a loops, and change the key, my loop won't change, but the other loops do,,,,not sure if I'm clear on what I'm trying to do,,,Thanks,,

There are several ways of doing this:

-When you bounce down or render to a new track, the newly rendered track takes on the overall project's tempo and key (essentially ACIDizing right on the spot). So if your project's key is C, your newly rendered track will also have C for its key.

-If you'd like to permanently change the existing ACIDized properties of a loop, access the track's properties and under the Stretch tab, choose the desired root note. After doing so, click the "save file" or "save files as" buttons in the upper right.

-Sound Forge also has the ACID loop creation tools, which can do the same thing that the track properties do in ACID (assign root note; number of beats) but minus the stretch marker ability of ACID Pro.
