Subject:help with starting points

Hopefully someone can help me.

I took out this long intro for one of my songs and then recorded it to disc...now it records it with a 37 sec gap before the song starts.

how do i move everything over, without having to realign it all?.

I think that this will answer your question. Click where you want the song to start; Hit Ctrl A (to select everything); Hit S to split the files at your mark; Select every thing before the mark and delete; Hit Ctrl A again, Drag everything up to the beginning.

Oh, I see you've already deleted the intro. Just Select everything (Ctrl A) and grab one of the events and drag to the beginning. Also, I'd keep Snat to Grid on so that it will keep your time.
