Wan't a feature I had thought about prior to the release of DVDA2 either.

I think its great, another happy PAL user here :-)

Could you be more specific? I was not aware of any fix for the external monitor problem in 2A. The DVDA update still has the same build no, and my version still has problems

If it's got the same build number I think you've not got the latest version. Mine says 2.0a build 121.
Sorry I've overwritten the old version so I cannot check what it was.
I'd had external preview work briefly and the it just stopped for no apparent reason. Seems the issue mainly affected PAL projects. SInce 've upgraded to 2.0a it started working again and hasn't died so far. Still it's only been a few hours and a few projects so maybe you're right, maybe it'll die again but this version has sure lasted longer than the last one.

BEFORE you do, what's the build number on DVDA 2.0?
PAW wrote on 7/17/2004, 6:33 AM

I think you'll find the preview was fixed in 2.0a for PAL but it broke the NTSC preview in the process.

NTSC users may want to stick with 2.0 for the moment

Just that PAW was saying he'd installed 2.0a and the build number was the same. Well you're saying 2.0 a is 94 and the build number on my install of 2.0a is 121 so me think he hasn't installed the latest build.
