VST AND ACID 4.0f and midi

I have this problem with some vst's instruments specially from Native, I select a sound in the vst instrument, but when I push play on Acid it changes the sound to another one.
Did it happens with you?

sounds like you are using pre-made midi files to play the synth(s) which often include program change messages which you need to find and change or delete .

first open the midi editor of this midi track and switch to the list editor.
now scroll down the list watching the column "Message" and look for entries named "Patch" which indicates a patch change (same meaning as program change) .
by checking on which channel , you can differ to which destination the message is sent , but there's often also in column "Data 4" a brief description of which patch is selected.
with the right-click menu you then get options to edit or delete the line in the list .
