c. MyST is right. Listen to him/her/it. d. But...and that's a huge "but" you might be able to pull it out, but it won't sound so hot. Invert the phase of one of the stereo channels, lay it back in, then take that and subtract it from a full mix and maybe, maybe, maybe the center track will be left, if the vocals are in the center. Much more likely is you're out of luck. And if there isn't good stereo separation (good as in significant, not good as in, well, good.) for the instrument mix, eh, you won't get anything. Also, if there're two singers (Male voice implies Female voice) then you're toast once again. e. When are they going to put in the registration page: "If you want to remove vocals from a song, you MAY NOT REGISTER. GO HOME." |

Adobe Audition 2.5 says it's able to remove the vocal and leave the music. Also it's able to remove the music and keep the vocal. Go buy Adobe Audition 2.5 and come back and tell us how it works. Maybe Sony will need to update FAQ #6 on this forum. |
