Subject:Quick question from a newbie

I'm new to Sound Forge myself, and I'm trying to get the hang of using it to remaster some old tapes. Unfortunately, when Sound Forge begins recording, it not only gets the audio from my line-input, it also records any system-sounds made by Windows. Is there a way to direct Sound Forge to accept audio only from the line-inputs? I'm using a SB Audigy 2zs Platinum pro with the external input box.

Turn off system sounds.

In the SB RECORDING mixer, select LINE IN not What U Hear or Mixed or Stereo or what ever Creative is calling it these days.
