Hey all! I'm new here, so hello! Anyway, I've got a Tascam US-122 recording box here and I'm trying to record some guitar stuff into Acid Pro, but it won't work. Under audio device I select Asio US-122 (16) as my recording device, but as soon as I switch off Microsoft Sound Mapper... nothing plays in my timeline and I can't record... I just get errors. Error 0x8004e0c1 (message missing). Now, I can get Soundforge to record but not Acid. Any help would be great! thanks!

I think sound forge would be a better recorder. Then you can use the two (acid &sf) together.

yeah it definately is but I would think that the technology is pretty similar in both and was wondering why I couldn't record in Acid when using the same driver in Sound Forge? yarg! how frustrating! thanks =D

Are the settings for the Tascam's ASIO driver match that of ACID? (For example, if the ASIO settings are 24-bit/44.1 kHz, then that's what you set your ACID project at.)
