Hi,

I tried to lay reverb on just one loop in the horisontal field, but when I click on the sqaure to the left and get the effect, it is on the whole stripe, and not just one loop! How can I get on just on little loop/selected area.

I also don´t know how to use the soft synth that is inplugged in the ACID software. When I click on the tangents of the soft synth, I can only click on at the time. Do I need an external synth that I connect to the MIDI input on my computer?

Kindly regards,
Robin

If the Reverb you’re using supports automation you can add an automation envelope to the track and turn the reverb up for the parts you want using the envelope.

As for soft synths, you can add as many as you want. Then you add a MIDI track, assign the soft synth to it, and use the piano roll editor to enter the MIDI notes in using your mouse. I would strongly recommend you use an external MIDI keyboard controller. It doesn’t need to have sound. It just needs to have MIDI out. M-Audio makes a complete line of them that plug right into your USB port. I just picked up an M-Audio Radium 49 on eBay for $68. So look around for a deal, they’re out there.

Oh, thanks! I´ll check out E-bay! Finally a synth that doesn´t cost 2000$ ;)
